Charity shop. A registered charity saving animal’s lives on a daily basis. Founded in 1986 by Olwen Edwards, the Abandoned Animals Association consists of a dedicated group of people committed to the long-term care and re-homing of unwanted and unloved animals.
Pensarn Community Shop (ARC Communities)
Charity shop run by ARC Communities, which support people who are socially disadvantaged, in poor housing or homeless. Provides affordable second hand goods to the community of Pensarn. Trains volunteers in retail and marketing, increasing their employability.
St. Kentigern Hospice Shop
Sells clothes, shoes, books, games, bric a brac, CDs, DVDs and furniture. In aid of St Kentigern Hospice. Delivery service for furniture purchases.
North Clwyd Animal Rescue
North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered charity founded in 1978 by Anne Owen. From one thin little Lurcher, we now care for over 1800 domestic pets a year. We have grown to meet these new demands and with the current economic situation these services are vital for the wider community.
