DDay80 Commemorative Evening and Beacon Lighting Ceremony
Abergele Town Council marked the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings with a Beacon Lighting Ceremony at Pensarn Promenade.
The evening began with a moving service at St. Michael's church, followed by an uplifting evening, compered by Dilwyn Price, with Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir, Geoff and Peter Skellon, and Pipe Major Neil Irons.
At 9:15 Mayor Councillor Diane Green lit the Beacon as the international tribute was read.
